Frequently Asked Questions
How much do your cookies cost?
Custom decorated cookie pricing begins at $65/dozen for basic decoration. Plain iced cookies begin at $45/dozen, less for minis. Most of my decorated orders fall in the $70-75/dozen range. Drop cookies begin at $42/dozen for large, 3oz cookies and vary depending on flavor and add-in ingredients. For a more detailed price breakdown, please read the info on my custom cookies page. Email me about how we could combine decorated and coordinated plain iced cookies to get the most out of a limited budget.
Do you offer shipping?
No. Unfortunately Georgia Cottage Food laws do not allow for shipping across state lines. Orders are for pick up from my home in Atlanta’s Upper Westside. Sometimes I can accommodate deliveries within metro Atlanta with an additional charge.
How do I place an order?
Please fill out the custom cookie order form or send me an email. Be as specific as possible about your event date and the day you’d like to pick up, how many cookies you’ll need and include any inspiration photos or graphics you’d like incorporated.
How much notice do you need for a custom order?
I try to keep my schedule availability updated on the custom cookies page. In general, please contact me at minimum 2-4 weeks before your planned event. The sooner, the better, especially for large events. Though I require 2 weeks notice without a rush fee, I generally book 4-6 weeks out. It may be a good idea to reach out up to 3 months before your event. You don’t have to have everything planned out or even a theme, but just to get on my schedule.
At times I may be able to accommodate a rush order (less than 2 weeks notice) for an additional rush charge.
You’re booked for my event week, can I still get cookies?
Possibly! If I am not booked for the week before, email me and we’ll see what we can do. Custom cookie orders are individually wrapped and heat sealed for freshness and will stay good for about two weeks. My cookies freeze well and I provide instructions for storage, freezing and thawing with each custom order.
Do you have a minimum order size?
A minimum of one dozen (12 cookies) must be ordered for decorated or drop cookies. Minimum of 2 dozen (24) for plain iced cookies only. Plain cookies can be added to decorated dozens in any amount and is a great way to split up the set and adjust for budget.
Do you require a deposit?
For custom orders, payment is to be made in full of your quoted total amount to be officially booked on my schedule. Once I send an invoice, please promptly pay within 24 hours to avoid your scheduled spot being given to another interested party.
How long will the cookies stay fresh? Can they be frozen?
Unless otherwise stated, all custom cookie orders are individually wrapped and heat sealed for freshness and will stay good for about two weeks. My cookies freeze well and I provide instructions for storage, freezing and thawing with each custom order.
What flavors do you offer? Vegan or Gluten Free?
Listed pricing is for my Vanilla Bean sugar cookie. For custom decorated cookie orders, I offer several other base flavors: Chocolate Brownie, Cookies n’ Cream, Snickerdoodle, Lemon, and Birthday Cake. I offer different seasonal flavors in my preorders and flash sales.
I DO offer gluten friendly cookies in the Vanilla Bean flavor only at this time. I DO NOT currently have a vegan recipe but am working on it.
Flavors other than Vanilla Bean must be ordered with a dozen minimum. You can mix and match flavors as long as there is at least 1 dozen of each flavor. Flavors including the gluten free are an additional flat charge of $5.
I offer additional seasonal flavors as part of my flash or holiday sales, so be sure and follow me or sign up for the newsletter to hear about those!
Are you allergen friendly?
Most of my recipes contain eggs, wheat and dairy. I am a cottage licensed home-based baker and though a recipe may not contain tree or peanuts, I have used nuts and other allergens in my home kitchen and can not guarantee absolutely no contamination. Depending on the severity of your allergy, my baked goods may not be a good fit for you. Same for gluten- even though I have a gluten free recipe, it’s more for a dietary preference than for a true allergy. I use a lot of gluten and wheat flours in my other recipes and can not guarantee no cross contact. Please reach out if you have further ingredient questions.
